Thermodynamics Textbook

This link redirects you to a free, web-based, classical thermodynamics textbook authored by Jonathan Scheffe that relies on property evaluation and computations using Python and associated packages such as Cantera. Content is being regularly updated and work is ongoing. See here for a list of updates.

Thermodynamics with Python

Jonathan Scheffe is a professor at the University of Florida (UF) - link and has taught undergraduate and graduate thermodynamics since 2014, along with radiation heat transfer, undergraduate heat transfer and undergraduate/graduate solar energy utilization. In addition to his teaching interests, Prof. Scheffe has an active research lab focused on solar thermal energy conversion to chemical commodoties, such as H2 and synthetic fuels.
